2011, Attraversiamo, ladies from HP

Long time no writing… but a lot of stuff going on.

First of all, in one of my previous posts I was saying that I am halfway there – what I was talking about at the time was that the FanPage for Vita de Vie that I manage (the Romanian rock band that changed my life and brought me a lot of friends and made be a leader and a good organizer) has reached 10,000 fans.

Actually it just hit 11,000 at the beginning of 2011. This was one of my personal goals for 2010 and I was very lucky to manage to achieve everything I set my mind to and a whole lot more that I didn’t see coming. Other goals included: getting a job, going to the Ac Dc, Cranberries and Aerosmith concerts,

2010 was one of the best years so far and I’m hoping 2011 to be even better.

The end of the year had some fun stuff at the office – see video and please do express feelings :)

For the New Years I had a quick trip to Napoli along with two very goods friends and it was a blast.

If you did see Eat Pray Love – the movie you could understand that the city can very well be described by the word Attraversiamo = let’s cross the street as this is a very difficult thing to do.

It was a short vacation but with a lot of nice adventures:

  • had the best pizza in the world at Da Michele – one of the oldest and finest pizzerias in Napoli – the hometown of pizza
  • visited Sorrento – a small and lovely little town close to Napoli with great view over the Mediterranean, lemon and orange gardens and a lot of nice spots with superb views over the Mediterranean
  • took an evening tour around the Vesuvius vulcano by train
  • started the year with a concert – Marco Mengoni – the winner of Italian X-Factor and the 2010 MTV Best European Act and actually met him after the concert
  • had a lovely first day of the year enjoying a traditional Peroni on a sunny day watching the boats

The last couple of months meant a lot of changes from a personal and professional view, this gave me the change to meet and interact with some very special ladies that have inspired me and that I hope to be in touch with for a long time from now: Natalie – our lady from HP, Jody – a very talkative fairy that seems to know everything about everything, Andreea – one of my newest mentors that I do share great life experiences with and of course Sandra – one of the best people in the world that I do hope to be seeing as soon and as often as possible .

Apart from that I’m begging to know a little Italian, the lessons are very relaxing and all in all it’s a fine experience, I’ve started having homework again :) but it’s a lot of fun.

Keith Richards launched his biography book – Life – and I find that we do have a lot of things in common, starting with bad dentist experiences during childhood, haven’t finished it yet but it seems to be very well written with a lot of interesting details.

I am hoping to visit as many cities as possible this year, for Rolling Stones to have another tour, to meet even more nice people, to keep reuniting with the people from FanWalk, even hoping for another VDV Camp and as many concerts and festivals as possible so that this list to reach at least 150 names :D

I am happy and confident about the way things are going and I do think there are still lots of changes to come this year, just like 2010 turned out to be a revolutionary year.

Over and out,

Cheers for a fantastic 2011 everyone!

Cheers!

Cheers!
